Beautiful Lian during our 10th year anniversary

It's our 10th year anniversary. The original plan is to go to Tagaytay and spend overnight just like last year. But due to some appointment of my husband we decided to just stay here in Manila and spend our special day here. We attended the christening of one of our friends then daddy went to his Poker appointment and then we stroll at the mall. We went home 12 midnight already but it's super fun.




Daddy also bought me my "wanna have shoes". Thanks hon. Luv u. Mwah!

We went to my husband's brother in law to dine with them 'coz they will be going back to US again and luckily, Ms. Shalani Soledad also went there. So we take the chance to have some pictures with her.

We visited the new mall in Fort to watch Christian Bautista. My husband brought us there because he knew that Christian is my only favorite.

We bought his album just to get inside the area.

Unexpectedly, it wasn't me who enjoyed the show but my little baby.. She even went on stage to be serenaded by Christian together with other fans..

Lian's School Activity

Me and Daddy decided to enroll Lian in school when she was 3 1/2 years old to develop her personality socially because she's so timid. After enrolling her we noticed a bigger changed in her. She's now more sociable. . . As in SOCIABLE. . :)

The Gift

It was July 13, 2010 when I gave birth to my beautiful angel. I do believe that she's a gift from above. She's the reason why were lucky parents now.





Lian grew fast. Now, she's 4 years old already. It's nice to look back from the day she's still one year old.

Innocent

I'm so happy watching my daughter play bubbles. She's a picture of an innocent kid. Sometimes she even requests me to play with her. I am supposed to catch all the bubbles after she blew it. . .





She never get tired of blowing her bubbles. She's always happy.

I am Lani

While browsing the net, I discovered the meaning of my name. Lani is being pronounce as LAH-nee. It means " sky or heaven ". My personality number is 8, same with my favorite number (lucky?).

The personality of a person under number 8 are;

--- bold and materialistic (I don't think so..) but rigid too.

--- they love power, authority and leadership. They are good planners and very good
at business.

The Mother in Me

For almost four years, it is my mother who really took care of my baby. It started from the day I gave birth to her.

I can still remember July 13, 2006 when I gave birth to Lian. I know from that day that I am already a mother but there are so many things which keep on bothering me. How can I be a good mother to this little baby knowing that I don't know how to change baby's diaper, I don't know how to clean her, how to bath her, how to prepare her milk and worst, how to take care of her if she cries.

All my worries strikes me once. Mama went home that day to get my things and then hubby went downstairs to check our baby's birth certificate. There it is! Lian start crying. I started to panic because I don't know what to do. I don't know what she want. Is she hungry or if she wants to pee? I check Mama and hubby but they're not there yet which means that I really need to take care of baby myself. From that day, I learned all the answers to my worries so I'm a worry free Mom now.

I'm not really a hands-on Mom. Mama always take care of everything about Lian and I think that's the reason why she's not so close to me. She's much closer to her grandma and to her Dad.

One day, we encountered a certain thing which will change my career forever. We can't really find someone as good as my Mom to take care of our baby. Even if everybody in the family were searching for a good nanny, we really can't find one. I remembered going to work crying that day.

I pray to God asking for his assistance so I can make the right decision. It's so fast. I just sit infront of the table and the answer was there infront of me. From that day, I decided to quit my job as an HR practitioner and dedicate my life to my daughter and my husband. Some people keeps on telling that we can't survive if only my husband will work but I just tell myself to trust God with all of my heart.

After two weeks of personally taking care of my daughter, I could say that I really made the right decision because I saw what kind of kid she was when I was not there.
Today, it's still quite hard for both of us but I really try my best to be right beside her whenever she needed me.

1st day in school as Nursery Advanced

Today is Lian's first day in school.

The following are the preparations since yesterday;

1. Went to mall yesterday and bought her new black shoes and slippers.
2. Go to bed early last night.
3. Wake up at 7 a.m. 'coz her schedule start from 8-10 a.m.




4. Sampaguita bath at 7:15 a.m.
5. Get dressed at 7:40 a.m.

We arrived in school at 7:55 a.m. Lian is very excited. She even forgot to get her bag and lunchbox from Mommy :).

I will be attending the Parent's orientation meeting tonight from 6PM to 8PM.

Things to bring tomorrow: small bucket, soap, soap disk,
cologne, lotion, powder, toothbrush/toothpaste, face towel, placemat, pair of slippers, pair of clothes, notebook, glue/paste, assorted cartolina and colored paper.

Well,just a proud Mom.

Now, I'm a full time Mommy

It was June 6, 2010 when I started my career as a full time Mom and I could say that I made the right decision.
